Kristi--yes! It's certainly been more interesting around here lately. heh. :)
Robin--yes, hooray! Last week there came the big day we'd waited for for 6 long weeks--we were able to let them loose together. Mostly, they get along great now. What a relief!
Oh, and I know what you mean about the table. We were making them stay only on the window sill, but they can't both fit there at the same time (not comfortably) so I'm pretty much resolved to letting them sit on the table. sigh.... but not while we're eating! heh.... :)
When I introduced a wild cat to our long time one it took forever. I would just hold one then the other and let each sniff the other on me. Then little by little bring one closer together with a fence between.. holding one.And on and on till they were close and then on to another thing. It took months but this wild cat needed a home and I had fallen for it. In the end it worked out.Now they are both gone and I miss them. We keep thinking of getting another pet but don't know if we want the responsibility at our age. Sarah

And more interesting, I bet!
They can be together now?
Our cat gets on the table all the time. It drives me crazy. Thank goodness he doesn't do it when we are eating!
