This year, oh! I'm so thankful for my new little home.
Tiny, sweet and low-maintenance. Close to shops of all kinds, even a supermarket that plays my favorite kind of retro music. Surrounded by happy, busy sparrows and huge trees, sidewalks to walk upon and a river at the end of the street. A sane-sized yard, a bright basement laundry and a huge room upstairs of my very own. More, even.
And tomorrow amongst all my gratitude, I'll thank God for each of you who have moved along with me, from house to house, those of you who read here and encourage me year after good year filled with so many lessons and learning.
My very best to each of you on Thanksgiving and always.

Debra,
Plant a few crocus or tulips this fall. It will be the sign of a new beginning in the spring. : ) Nice!
A blessed and joyful Thanksgiving to you and Tom and Noemi, too, Debra!
Oh, I think I used the Hungarian spelling for your daughter's name. Sorry!
I am grateful for you. I have enjoyed visiting with you for so long and hearing about your friend Grace. I know this sounds corny and maybe a bit odd,.. but I always think of your house as having 6 people in it. You and your husband [and daughter when she is there] and Grace and The Father and The Son. They are such a part of your lives and so naturally a part of your home. I hope this does not sound too weird but I cannot think of your blog without thinking of our Father. You have taught so many life lessons through your blogging bringing us back to the Bible through them. I just wanted to say thank you Debra for your continued observations on life....and then weaving them back to scripture. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Sarah
nice post
