This morning I received a huge dose of patience.

According to Good Morning America, Richmond, yesterday, was 20 degrees hotter than we were here in Buffalo. Twenty degrees.

Good. Grief.

So today you may color me extremely, wildly patient regarding our someday move to the Richmond area.

Yep, and here in buggyville, and saunaville, yesterday was 103 with heat index of 110 or so...talk about wilted. I am SO grateful for a/c!! Being we are in drought too, we really cannot water outside much either...much like it is in the West, but not usual for here! Well, just like in a blizzard you stay home...if you can, in the heat you stay home too!!

Oh, I'm sorry. It's 70 degrees here, and that feels wonderful. I'm thinking our short summer has come and gone.

It is so true what Elizabeth says :)

I don't think I've been out of our home since Saturday...and then only in brief 10 to 15 minutes increments for things that absolutely have to been...like trying to save the veggie patch from rampant weeds & from dying of thirst...

and looks like there are at least a couple of more steaming weeks lined up...

I seriously hate August...

90 and humid here today. I'm trying to have a good attitude, since I'm the first to complain about the winter cold!

Thanks, Everyone... You're making me even more grateful that mostly we've had marvelous summer weather here in Buffalo this summer, probably the best I ever remember. Guess I'd better appreciate it while I can, right? :) Blessings, Debra
