Autumn Just for Fun

If you must do back-strengthening exercises (which I must) at least it helps to have a window full of gold to stare up at:

And you know? For the first time in a year, I was physically able to walk to my favorite neighborhood. A miracle! (No, really. It felt exciting.)

"My other house," is there, the one where I live inside my head at night when I'm trying to return to sleep. (Yeah, little old ladies do that and sometimes don't come back, but hey---).

Across the street from it is this cool place:

And beside it, this:

Which looks out upon these:

Have you watched Timeless yet? That area is like that. You're transported to the 1920's--poof! But here, you don't wish to leave. It's like strolling around a type of Neverland, where you're neither here nor there.

And in Today's world, that's the type of place you'll find me and God sitting together, in perfect peace, talking.

Did Tom and I do Halloween this year? Nah. Just closed the curtains early and left the lights off (though my new sconces came in handy for soft lighting).

If anything, we went as Old Puds.

Yet Naomi's best friend from high school, Kellee, was a delight (but then, she always is). She dressed up as Audrey Hepburn, nailed it, and shared these with us at Facebook:

Is she adorable or what?

Beautiful fall photos and I love your house pictures. Congratulations on taking a longer walk. I've had a rough year and haven't been able to walk and bike like I used to. Hopefully that will change soon. We shut the light off and watched TV too.
Blessings,
Betsy

Gorgeous fall pics! I'm sure enjoying looking out our windows, too. We have blaze red maples in our front yard, and I'd bet half of the leaves dropped yesterday. It feels like a fairyland.

I've been watching Timeless and really enjoy it. Certainly something different on tv!
