Tom and I drove out into the countryside this rainy morning, out to our former farmland so that he could have breakfast with his buddy, Al, while I read decorating magazines and drank coffee at the supermarket in a place I fondly call Grover's Corners (you know, from the play, Our Town). 'Corners' is in the real-life title of this tiny town, though.
Oh, what we saw on this first day of Autumn!

But then, these were taken from a speeding car, after all.
And anytime we rush things in this Life, it turns out not as well as it would have if we'd just s-l-o-w d-o-w-n. And take time to breathe and appreciate and whisper a grateful prayer in the middle.
