Here We Go Again

For those of you who like this stuff, here you go. The view from my window:

Oh well, it had to happen sometime.

This morning I shoveled a bit, cursed myself for not keeping-up with my back exercises and fervently hoped that we can strike the same snow-shoveling deal as last year with Mike Our Neighbor.

At least Tom gets 4 1/2 days off beginning this afternoon and already I can hear, "And since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow," swirling around inside my brain. There'll be no outdoor adventures during those days, I promise you.

It's an awfully good thing that Tom and I, after 35 years, still enjoy each other's company and lots of the same Netflix shows. heh.

**********

So last night I noticed that Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer was on tv and I promise you I didn't go ballistic. But I did vow to--today--do my annual sharing of my post as to why that whole story is just plain wrong.

So here we go again with that.  Do re-read it with a smile, ok?

*****

Oh, and happy Thanksgiving to each of you!

Elizabeth--Happy Thanksgiving to you! The snow wouldn't be a problem if I never had to go out in it. heh. I'll post some more photos over the winter just for you. :) Thanks for commenting! Blessings, Debra

This Elizabeth loves snow too...but at this age, just from looking out at it!! Broke my tailbone a few years ago, on icy steps...the ice was so clear I could not see it!! But I used to love to shovel snow more than any other outside activity...don't ask me why...maybe because of most of my youth being spent where snow almost never was seen? Thanks for sharing the photos...not sure yet if we will see any here...they say maybe. It only comes every few years in this part of NC...out of a decade lived here, we only had it where it stayed a few weeks, maybe 2 times. It is not as much fun however if it lasts a long time and you have to drive in it (as we did living in Idaho)!!
Elizabeth in NC for a time...

Elizabeth--happy Thanksgiving to you! And yes, driving in the snow is my least favorite thing about it, well, that and having Tom walk around in it. Fortunately he'll miss much of our winter this year during his time in Africa! Hope your day has been extra nice... Blessings, Debra
