Re: Our Real Home

So since I'm going all low-to-no media today,  (for various reasons), I'll simply include a wonderful link for you:

Life Beyond The Grave 2

I found some powerful testimonies there this past week and wanted to share them with you.

So there you go.

"Do not put your trust in princes,
Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
His spirit departs, he returns to his earth;
In that very day his plans perish."  ... Psalm 146:3,4

I added an extra lamp to my library yesterday (3 now in that tiny space) and this is where I'll be spending the Long, Dark Winter. This is where I'll be soaking in the Light for the sake of my head and heart:

Did you come here expecting something more political-leaning? I already wrote that post. If you missed it, it's here.

Funny you mentioned it...I actually came figuring you would Not be mentioning the obvious. :) You are the channel I switch to. I plan to finish a book today so I can give it away tomorrow and get some home things done. What happens now happens. I love your little library room! :-) To be surrounded by the books you love is like getting a hug. Sarah

I have been without power for 10 days. We were going from house to house staying with folks from church. A church member graciously offered her home to us since she is a teacher and gone most of the time. We were hit hard by hurricane Sandy. I was hoping to wake up to some good news. Still no power and no new president, but I know God is safe to trust. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Have a good day, Debra.

Sarah--thanks! Yes, it does feel very much like being hugged every time I sit amongst my books. :)

Robin--ack! I'm sorry it's been so long that you've been without power. Gracious. I've been praying for your family and will continue to pray. Let me know if there's something I can do, ok? Message me at Facebook if you'd like.

Thanks, Ladies... Debra
