Since Tom began working from home in March, we eat our main meal at 12 noon and during that hour? We watch our soap. Soap opera that is. It's called NCIS LA.
ツ
Now, for over a decade, this was our least favorite of all the similar type shows we watch. Our viewing was tres sporadic.
But even before these Covid Days, we began with season 1 and when there was nothing else on? We'd watch NCIS LA and surprise, surprise! We grew to appreciate it.
We're now nearing season 11(!).
Why mention this? Because over the years, often Tom and I were, like, blinded to current runs of many tv series or movies, then later at a more fitting time, poof! God provided these new-to-us shows so that, always, there's something available we enjoy watching.
Call me naive, but yeah, I believe when we (truly) put God first He messes around in our minute details. We create room for tons of His delightful presents, surprises, so that enjoyable things happen. Daily. Weekly. Monthly.
And no day feels ho-hum.
In fact, nothing is normal anymore, for good is always here (though hard to find sometimes), all special, all a surprise, like custom-made presents.
No really, I believe that. I live it--with constant gratitude.
What are you expecting today? Good, bad, ugly or wonderful? Hmmm?

God is good and so faithful to provide for every single thing. It's wonderful to know that we can depend on him for the big needs, as well as the simpler needs. Thanks for reminding us, Debra
I also believe that God cares about every little detail of our lives. After all, he knows the number of hairs on our heads!
Here's and example of his caring. I also think he knew how nervous I would be going to Costco this morning. I worried and fretted all night about it. I haven't been there in months and I don't enjoy it even when a pandemic isn't raging. But, I had to get our dogs medicine and it's only in the pharmacy at Costco.
So I went this morning early, not knowing when they opened. And guess what? If you are 60 and over you get in early! And I was right between the time of the 60 opening and "regular" people. So all of the older people were pretty much done. I zoomed in and out in less than 5 minutes and never got close to anyone except to pay at the pharmacy.
I truly believe that God knew how nervous I was and allowed me to get there at that exact time. He is SO good in everything.
Blessings and hugs my friend,
Betsy
