Something Fun

Oh wow.

A few moments ago I found this. It totally captured my imagination and I knew some of you would really appreciate this story.

The painting mentioned in the article is the lovely one, above. (Click to enlarge.) Beautiful. Just beautiful.

How great to discover this perfect type of story this evening after the most exquisite autumnal day ever.

  1. What a cool story! Thanks so much for sharing. I loved the photo they had on the page with the story. I am thinking I would have loved a lot of her furniture as well!

  2. Wow Debra, what an interesting story. Like opening a time capsule from another era. Knowing the personal story behind a painting makes all the difference. Thanks for sharing and have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

  3. Oh what a story! Kind of takes your breath away, doesn't it?

Can you imagine being the person, who walked in and discovered this treasure trove of an abandoned apartment?!? Ohhhhhh, it gives me the chills.

All things old are wonderful. And this is like it was preserved in amber...

    Thank you...

  4. I love that it was purchased because the buyer could sense the passion with which it was painted. Sigh....
