A lovely Sunday afternoon.
Tom's birthday afternoon. Fifty-two! Weren't we just married the other day when he was 21 and I was 19? Time slips away and that's why I try to doubly appreciate any afternoon, especially beautiful Springtime ones like this one.
Pass along my birthday wishes to Tom!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tree...what kind is it?
Thanks, Tracy! I'm thinking it's a dogwood tree, but I could be wrong. I'm the type of gardener that Sarah Ban Breathnach wrote about who points and says, "That pretty yellow flower over there." heh. Blessings, Debra

ReplyDeleteGreat day for birthdays. Wish Tom my best. If you go to Pilgrim Scribblings you'll see that it's my brother Jim's birthday today as well. He's got Tom beat by 4 years though.
Have a wonderful week, my friend!
In His love,
David
Happy Birthday, Tom!
ReplyDeleteYes, a simply beautiful tree.

Happy Birthday to the best husband (to Debra) in the world! :)
ReplyDeleteBee-you-ti-full tree. Yes, I agree, we should enjoy every single moment, and enjoy the lovely ones doubly.
Happy Birthday to Tom. Looking at the photos I can't decide which part delights me more - the porch, the tree or the window over the porch that speaks of a cozy room inside.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Tom! Debra & Tom your place is truly lovely. Just beautiful
ReplyDeleteBirthday greetings to your hubby- he is still young to me--LOL
