So guess what? A woman wants to buy our house.
We are amazed. I mean, we'd nearly decided to take it off the market and try again next Spring since the thought of moving in the snow unnerves us. And it didn't help that, lately, I've felt too tired to move myself around, let alone a whole houseful of furniture.
But isn't that the way it always go? You stop believing for something and then it happens. Perhaps it's because we release our worries and fears and so then the faith we exercised earlier comes into play... this time much stronger, more powerfully, because the doubt and unbelief are gone.
Maybe?
Well, it was time something good happened around here. And though we still have no clear idea what we'll be doing next, at least we can see this as a nudge from God to do something. Something besides reclining in our Cozy Room watching movies and watching Life go by, as well.
Tom and I are going out to breakfast this morning to one of our favorite tiny diners to celebrate.
Stay tuned...
God's funny that way sometimes. After all He is the one that will take care of it in His time. That as it turns out is the right time. But we wouldn't be normal kids if we didn't argue once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will all be fine, even if you waiver just a little
It is one of those grace-omenons(not to be confused with a coincidence, luck, or phenomenon) that is on my list of questions that I won't need to ask when I get to heaven...

It's truly worth celebrating though...yay!!!
Congratulations on the sale of the house. I think I am going to remember the one paragraph about faith. This is happen with my middle kids concerning being able to have a baby.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem too long reading your blog from when it went on market - but I know living it can be long.
I'll continue to read daily where your new journey takes you

What?? Your house was for sale?
ReplyDeleteHA!
I kid, I kid. :)
Congratulations. :) :)
A real live buyer! I'm so happy for you!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I so hope that the next part, will begin to make you feel good too! The project of getting an interim living space.
Since you face the snow issue again, have you considered putting most everything in storage, and getting an apartment? No need for you to shovel snow! Live in a much smaller space with much less to maintain, for the winter months. Couldn't that be a funnnnnnnnnn idea?
It is to me. And I so hope it will be, for you too. A bit of fun, for a change. Like being newly-weds, maybe? Like really hunkering down in a snug, cozy, little space, for the winter months. Oh it sounds like great fun to me.
Yeah, I go full tilt with something like this, I know. But I don't have to DO the putting stuff in storage and etc. Awwww, I wish I was close enough to go apartment hunting with you though! I am totally excited by all this. :-)
It would salve my desire for a smaller place for us, which isn't going to happen any time soon. And it would be so much fun to go along with you, while you prepare for it to happen for you, for a few months.
OK, I'll hang up my crazy enthusiasm now. -grin- I do get carried away!!!
Hugs,
