Oh happy day and hallelujah!
Daniel is home and how good to see him eating like a proverbial pig after frustrating days last week when he'd only nibble. The doctor says Daniel's healing will continue as long as he keeps eating, so again, how wonderful to watch him chowing down.
And how incredible (and scary) that a cat can capture our whole hearts so quickly! Even after we vowed we'd not let it happen again. Even when I blogged to you 'never invest more emotionally than you can afford to lose'. Oh dear.... how vulnerable we make our hearts at times.
And yet? How good to get our minds off of ourselves (me, me, me) and onto a creature who needs us. To give love and companionship and receive them back a hundred lovely ways. To have our days made brighter, even on cloudy ones such as this.
How good to have friends like you pray for our sweet little cat.
And how very good is our God!

Ahh... In the above photo, Sammy's giving Daniel a welcome home bath. :) We could tell Sammy missed his little brother while he was gone.

Sadly, many miserable people throw their seeds of love into locked drawers rather than planting them and watching them grow into tall, life-giving sustenance.
